Kitsap (and the PNW in general) is known for its craft beer, spirits and local wine and there is no place that best represents Kitsap’s boozy side than the city of Poulsbo!

This historic state park sits on the eastern shores of Port Orchard and offers camping, beach exploration, event facilities, and hours of fun. Watch Seattle/Bremerton ferries chug past as juvenile bald eagles roost overhead among the thick pine boughs.

75 acres of perfect park and 1785 feet of saltwater shoreline, Illahee (ill-uh-hee!) State Park is a local favorite for diving, beach combing, hiking, boating and waterfront adventures.

A favorite haunt of beachcombers, lunch-breakers, families, photographers, and picnickers, Tacoma Narrows Park is a gorgeous public park offering some of the most spectacular and unique views on the Peninsula.

Tucked into the folds of the Seabeck shoreline, the nature reserve takes some driving to get to, but trust us, it’s worth every moment.

Manette is probably the coolest, calmest, and most collected community in Kitsap. Small though it may be, there’s a LOT to love here.
