There are 4 ferry terminals that you may use to get to the Kitsap Peninsula: Kingston, Bainbridge Island, Bremerton & Southworth (Port Orchard). The auto ferries allow people to drive their car onto the ferry or walk on as a passenger.

Kingston
The Kingston auto ferry 30 crossing from Edmonds.
Bainbridge Is.
The Bainbridge Island auto ferry is a 30-minute crossing from downtown Seattle.
Bremerton
The Bremerton auto ferry is a 60-minute crossing to downtown Seattle.
southworth
The Southworth auto ferry is a 30-minute crossing to West Seattle. Southworth is near Port Orchard, in South Kitsap.
Via fast Ferry
The Kitsap Transit Fast Ferry provides quick (approx. 30 minutes) passenger-only service from Kingston, Bremerton & Southworth directly to downtown Seattle.

Via the Tacoma narrows bridge
Two bridges connect the Kitsap Peninsula to the wider world - the Tacoma Narrows Bridge and the Hood Canal Bridge.
On Highway 16 (which connects to I-5 if you are driving from Portland, Olympia or Seattle) the Tacoma Narrows Bridge connects to Kitsap and brings drivers first to the city of Gig Harbor and then to Port Orchard.
Via the Hood Canal bridge
Highway 104 leaves Jefferson County, spans the Hood Canal, and enters Kitsap a stone’s throw from Port Gamble. Highway 104 connects to Highway 3 and runs North to South connecting drivers to Poulsbo, Silverdale & Bremerton.
