About Nate + Lindsey
What was your first job?
“Lindsey started in the dental field at a local oral surgeon’s office and Nate was a bartender and then transitioned into beer sales for Hales Ales.”
Where do you draw inspiration/creativity in your life?
“With both families made up of entrepreneurs, we find inspiration from others following the paths that light up their hearts. Living a life that’s filled with passion, contributing to great causes, and supporting our community!”
About Sylling’s Elderberry
How did the idea of starting Sylling’s Elderberry begin?
“We heard about elderberry syrup amid flu season a few years ago and decided to try and make it ourselves. We were just as skeptical of the "natural" home remedies but were desperate for an alternative to the over-the-counter meds that just didn't seem to make a dent. In turn, we found a solution!”
The Genesis
Tell us the story of how Sylling’s Elderberry came to fruition.
“In the early fall of 2018, we knew we needed to get our annual elderberry syrup brewing before the cold & flu season hit us. While offering it to our friends and family, the lightbulb came on... "Our community needs to know about this stuff!" So here we are, brewing elderberry syrup and sharing our passion for alternative solutions to keeping our family healthy and whole.”
