LOCAL: Heritage Distilling | Holiday Drink Recipes
If you live on the Kitsap Peninsula, chances are good that you’ve heard of Heritage Distilling. Founded here, in Gig Harbor, Heritage has honed the best Brown Sugar Bourbon this side of heaven (and not just according to us - check out all the awards they’ve been winning since they launched at the end of 2012). BRB has won several awards, including “World's Best Flavoured Whisky” from the World Whiskies Awards in 2018 and 2019. They’ve also been the most awarded craft distillery in North America by the American Distilling Institute the last six years running!
Brown Sugar Bourbon is definitely a fan favorite in our house. In fact we are working our way through the Heritage Spirits Advent Calendar right now and I need to confess…I may have done a little skipping ahead. It’s hard to just drink just ONE when they are all SO good! If you’re new to HDC and all they offer, gift yourself an Advent Calendar ASAP and dip your toe in a sampling of their vodkas, gins, and whiskies.
In the spirit (see what we did there) of Christmas, we asked Heritage Distilling to share some of their favorite holiday beverages with us. Creating one, or a few, of these tasty cocktails for your holiday group is a guaranteed ‘hostess with the mostest’ slam dunk!
