About Port Gamble Weddings & Events
Two charming waterview venues overlooking Hood Canal and Gamble Bay. Our Hood Canal Vista Pavilion accommodates up to 150 guests,and includes a tented terrace that can accommodate about 180 guests during peak Wedding Season. And our St. Paul's Church, historical and non-denominational, fits up to 150 in its ceremony space and has a reception space indoor for up to 50 and an outdoor patio for up to 80.
Hood Canal Vista Pavilion / General Event Space
Offering breathtaking, panoramic, water views and stunning sunsets over the Hood Canal, the Hood Canal Vista Pavilion is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens. In the Pavilion, a floor to ceiling stone fireplace sits opposite abundant windows overlooking lush seasonal gardens. Six sets of French doors lead to a slated patio and an expansive grassy bluff right on the shores of the Hood Canal. In the spring and summer months, an adjacent tented terrace offers an additional location for a reception, dance floor and/or cocktail hour.

St. Paul's Church / Church
Sitting on a sloping grass bluff overlooking the waters of Port Gamble Bay, St. Paul's Church was built in 1879. It is modeled after a church in the Maine hometown of Port Gamble’s founders. The meticulously restored church boasts 8 cathedral stained glass windows, original pews and a domed altar area. The picturesque church has become the most photographed church in the area. the steeple houses the original church bell, and wedding couples thrill to the sound of the church bell ringing as they are pronounced married. The remodeled downstairs reception or dressing area leads outdoors to a waterfront terrace, perfect for intimate receptions and gatherings.

Take a step back in time and immerse yourself in the rich history of one of Washington State's oldest towns. Make your next company retreat or party one for the history books in the Port Gamble Historic Museum. Built in 1916 as one of the millsite offices, the museum was designed in 1972 and opened in 1976 housing and abundance of historical items from Port Gamble and the sawmill which operated form 1853-1995.
